Preview: The Sheepdogs at The Shelter

There’s FINALLY an answer the question everyone has been asking:
What would Lynyrd Skynyrd sound like if they were Canadian?

Oh, no one has ever asked that? Well, fine. The Sheepdogs are the answer to the question no one asked.

The Southern rockers from the Great White North even give a nod to their retro sound with their newest album, “Future Nostalgia”. Released in late 2015, the album continues to build upon a well known genre with a modest modern touch. Guitar rock at it’s finest. If you’re looking for great music, you’ve found it. They’ve won tons of awards, if you’re into that sort of thing. If you’re looking for good vibes and powerful rock music, they have a never ending supply of both. The Sheepdogs have everything you want in a band that gives a memorable show.

Still not convinced? Check out this video of The Sheepdogs kicking the crap out of a bunch of kids on the baseball diamond, that should do it.

The Sheepdogs aren’t reinventing the wheel but, who gives a shit? Their look is interesting, their lyrics are relatable, and their music is fantastic. Just sit back and have a good time, they sure as hell are.
